Find clients for your service business in public requests
updated 17 October 2026
Some of the best clients a service business can get are people posting things like "need a bookkeeper who understands Shopify payouts, ours just quit". HearBuyers finds those requests on Reddit and X for the service you sell, scores how ready each person is to hire, and drafts a reply for you to approve and post.
See what requests look like for your service
Our find-clients pages come from our own scans of public posts. Each one shows how buyers phrase their requests, which communities they ask in, what those communities allow, and scored examples. There are pages for bookkeeping, accounting, consulting, recruitment, web design, SEO, copywriting and more.
How it works for a small team
- Paste your website. HearBuyers works out the service you sell and the phrases clients use to ask for it.
- Each morning you get a short list of requests in your inbox or Slack, with the sentence that matched and a score.
- You reply to the ones that fit. Nothing gets posted until you approve it.

Sample requests
| Request (paraphrased) | Score |
|---|---|
| "Need a bookkeeper who understands Shopify payouts, ours just quit" | 92 |
| "Looking for a fractional CFO for a 20-person company" | 85 |
| "How do I become a bookkeeper?" | 5 |
The last one uses the same words but isn't a buyer. Scoring tells them apart.
Frequently asked questions
Which services does this work for?
Services where buyers ask for a person in public: bookkeeping, accounting, consulting, recruiting, design, development, copywriting and similar. Some regulated services, such as legal advice, don't have enough clean public requests yet to justify a page.
Will it find local clients?
It finds people asking on Reddit and X, wherever they are. Add your region to your description and the replies will say so.
What if i'm not allowed to promote in a community?
Many communities ban promotion. Answer the question first, don't link, and check the rules with the rules lookup.
