HearBuyers vs ParseStream: more platforms, or a scored shortlist?
updated 18 October 2026 · facts about other products checked 17 October 2026 from their own pages
ParseStream suits you if you want to track keywords across several platforms, including Quora and Hacker News, and choose the reply style yourself. HearBuyers suits you if you want a smaller list from X and Reddit where each match has a 0 to 100 score, the evidence sentence and a reason. Both draft a reply, and in both a person posts it.
The ParseStream facts come from its home page, checked on 17 October 2026. Its pricing page address returned a 404 that day, so the plans are taken from the home page.

Where ParseStream is stronger
- Platforms. It reads five sources to our two. Quora and Hacker News are covered, and HearBuyers does not read them.
- Low entry price. Lite is $24 a month.
- Reply styles. You pick an approach and add instructions, which helps if you want to test different tones.
- History and trends. It stores historical mentions and shows trend charts.
- Credits and seats. Higher plans list more keywords per platform, more domains and up to eight seats.
Where HearBuyers is stronger
- A numeric score with evidence. The 0 to 100 score comes with the exact sentence highlighted and a one-line reason.
- Setup from a URL. You paste your site and edit the result instead of building a keyword list for each platform.
- Billing by outcome. You pay for matches above your threshold, not for credits spent reading posts.
- A team inbox. Matches move through stages from new to won.
