ParseStream review: what it does, what it costs, who it fits

updated 18 October 2026 · facts about other products checked 17 October 2026 from their own pages

ParseStream finds threads where people ask for what you sell and drafts a reply for you to post. This review covers what its home page lists, including the pricing and FAQ sections, as checked on 17 October 2026. We give no star rating. Its separate /pricing URL returned "not found", so every figure here comes from the home page.

In a workshop, a clockwork archivist guides a stream of pebbles through a set of brass sieves, with only a few polished stones collected in a tray beside them.

What ParseStream is

The home page headline is "Turn Online Conversations Into Customers". You add keywords and choose which platforms each one covers: Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn, X and Hacker News. It reads posts, comments and questions. On Reddit it covers posts and comments across public subreddits, and you can limit a keyword to specific subreddits.

Setup

You add keywords and choose platforms. Brand setup gives the account a starting set of keywords, and AI suggests related terms.

How it judges mentions

ParseStream calls the next step Lead Detection. Each mention is qualified as a lead opportunity and tagged with an intent such as buy intent, pain point or competitor complaint. You can add custom AI filters and a subreddit filter. Historical mentions are kept, with trend charts.

Replies

For any mention you can generate a suggested reply. You pick an approach (value-first, case study, testimonial or founder story), a length, and custom instructions. The steps on its page say to copy, post and engage, so you post the reply yourself.

The page doesn't say how many credits one mention or one reply costs, so check that before you pick a plan.

Who it fits

ParseStream fits teams that think in keywords and want a large allowance per platform. It suits you if Quora or Hacker News matter in your market, if you run several domains from one account, or if part of your goal is replying in threads that search engines index.

What its page doesn't list

These aren't criticisms. We looked for the following on its home page and didn't find them:

  • A numeric intent score. Intent is shown as a tag.
  • A credit cost per action.
  • X keywords on Lite.

How HearBuyers differs

HearBuyers reads X and Reddit only. It starts from your company website and scores each post from 0 to 100 for buying intent, showing the sentence where the need appears. Then it drafts a reply for a person to approve. HearBuyers is free for 14 days with no card, then from $19 a month. It doesn't read Quora or Hacker News.

See the ParseStream alternative page, the HearBuyers vs ParseStream comparison, or our guide to Reddit marketing tools.

Next step

Write down the first five keywords you would add to ParseStream. Then paste your website into HearBuyers and see how many of those buyers it finds without a keyword list.
