HearBuyers vs ReplyGuy: auto-replies, or a person approving each one?
updated 18 October 2026 · facts about other products checked 17 October 2026 from their own pages
ReplyGuy and HearBuyers both find conversations where your product could help and draft a reply. They differ on who posts it. ReplyGuy offers auto-replies on its Reddit plans and says it supplies purchased accounts to send them. HearBuyers drafts a reply, and someone on your team edits it, approves it and posts it from their own account. ReplyGuy suits teams that want volume, and HearBuyers suits teams that want every public reply to come from a real person they can name.
The ReplyGuy facts come from its home and pricing pages, checked on 17 October 2026. Those two pages list slightly different tables, so this page uses the pricing page.

Where ReplyGuy is stronger
- Volume. Plans range from 20 to 1,000 replies a month, and on Reddit it can send them for you.
- Low entry price. Small costs $10 a month for five keywords.
- A monitor-only option. The Analyst plan tracks mentions and sentiment and produces reports without auto-posting. It supports five projects.
- A quick free audit. Paste a website and you see opportunities in about 15 seconds, without an account.
Where HearBuyers is stronger
- Accountability. Every public reply comes from a person you can name, which matters if you sell to a community that pays attention to who is posting.
- Scoring with a reason. Each match has a 0 to 100 score, the highlighted sentence and a one-line reason, so you can see why it was picked.
- A team workflow. Stages run from new to won, you can invite teammates, and there's a record of who approved each reply.
- Per-match billing. You pay for matches above your threshold rather than for a reply allowance.
