BrandMentions review: what it does, what it costs, who it fits
updated 18 October 2026 · facts about other products checked 17 October 2026 from their own pages
BrandMentions is a brand monitoring and social listening tool. This review covers what its home and pricing pages listed when we checked them on 17 October 2026. We don't give a star rating, and we didn't use reviews from other sites. The pricing page is pricing.php, because /pricing returned "not found".

What BrandMentions is
The home page calls it the social listening and brand monitoring tool, with deep web and social monitoring powered by AI. It lists brand monitoring, reputation management, competitor tracking, media monitoring, business intelligence and use by resellers and agencies.

Setup
You add keywords to projects, and higher plans also get Boolean search. Starter allows 3 projects, Pro 10 and Expert 50.
Sources
The plan comparison groups sources into social networks, short-form and discussions, video platforms, communities, sites, blogs, news, forums and additional sources. Starter gets 7 or more social networks and Pro gets 10 or more. We couldn't read which networks each plan includes, so ask before you count on a particular one.
Alerts and reporting
The site lists email alerts and notifications when new mentions or links appear. Reporting includes AI sentiment, standard reports on Pro, white-label reports on Expert, and a 1,000-row export on Starter. Pro and above get an AI assistant.

An annual toggle promises up to three months free, but the annual figures wouldn't load for us. Expert adds audience demographics, white-label reports and Boolean search. Enterprise adds app white-label, developer access and a dedicated success manager. There's a 7-day free trial, and the page says you can cancel anytime.
Questions to ask before you buy
- Which networks come with your plan? The comparison table groups them, but we couldn't read the names.
- What are the annual prices behind the toggle that says up to three months free?
- What happens if you go over your monthly mention allowance?
- Does your number of projects fit the plan limits?
Who it fits
BrandMentions fits marketing and PR teams that want every public mention of a brand in one place, with sentiment and reports they can show a manager or client. Agencies and resellers can make use of the project and white-label features. It suits you if web and news coverage matter as much as social.
What its pages don't list
These aren't criticisms. Its home and pricing pages made no mention of:
- A buying-intent score.
- Reply drafting.
- Which individual networks come with which plan.
How HearBuyers differs
HearBuyers reads X and Reddit only. It starts from your company website, scores each post from 0 to 100 for buying intent, highlights the sentence that shows the need, and drafts a reply that a person approves and posts. It doesn't cover blogs, news or reputation reports. HearBuyers is free for 14 days with no card, then from $19 a month.
