Search X by language or city
updated 17 October 2026
To find buyers in another market, filter X by language with lang: and search in the words people there would use. The builder above is set to German (lang:de). Replace "looking for, recommend" with local phrases: "suche" and "empfehlung" in German, "busco" and "recomiendan" in Spanish.

Separate several phrases with ;
Comma-separated. Joined with OR.
en, de, fr, es… Leave empty for any.
Your search
("looking for" OR recommend) lang:de -filter:retweetsX asks you to log in before it shows search results. Save the search in X to run it again later.

Searching by city
X's location search is unreliable, so use words to narrow by city. Put the city name or its common hashtag in "any of these", for example (berlin OR #berlin) "suche".
How to reply
Reply in the language they wrote in. If you answer a German question in English, it reads like an ad.
