What a good reply looks like here
A good reply is professional, answers the question directly and sticks to practical security considerations instead of promotion. Offer useful evaluation criteria and don't push a product.
Sample reply: If you're comparing hardware security keys as lower-cost alternatives, it may help to check support for the authentication standards you need, compatibility with your devices and identity providers, management requirements, and total deployment cost. For teams, reliability, replacement processes and user onboarding can matter as much as the purchase price. If you share your environment and requirements, people may be able to suggest options that fit them.

When to skip r/cybersecurity
If you sell general consumer products, home IT support services or broad non-cyber B2B offerings, this community usually isn't worth prioritizing. It suits cybersecurity-focused vendors and service providers who can contribute expertise without leaning on promotional outreach.
