Awario vs Mention: self-serve plans against a demo-led plan
updated 18 October 2026 · facts about other products checked 17 October 2026 from their own pages
Awario publishes its prices: three plans from $49 a month, plus a free trial that needs no card. Mention shows a single "Company" plan with no price and asks you to book a demo. Both monitor brand mentions across social media, news, blogs and forums. Awario is easier to start with and to cost out. Mention suits teams that want an account manager, review-site coverage and history.
Facts come from each vendor's home and pricing pages, checked on 17 October 2026. Mention's home page says Agorapulse has acquired it.

Pick Awario if... pick mention if...
Pick Awario if you want to start this week, keep control of spend and monitor across the web with generous mention limits. Pick Mention if you need review-site coverage, share of voice and a contact at the vendor, and you can wait for a quote. Mention's FAQ says its Publish and Respond features are being phased out, so ask what that means for your workflow.

Where HearBuyers fits
Both are monitoring tools. HearBuyers covers only X and Reddit and answers a narrower question: who is asking for what you sell right now? It scores each post from 0 to 100, highlights the sentence that shows the need and drafts a reply for a person to approve.
Next step: run an Awario trial and ask Mention for a quote on the same three keywords, then compare what each one found.
