Best social selling tools in 2026, by channel and job

updated 18 October 2026 · facts about other products checked 18 October 2026 from their own pages

Social selling tools help you find and talk to buyers on social platforms instead of cold-calling a list. Most of them work on LinkedIn. A smaller group watches X, Reddit and other public sources for people saying they need something, which matters when your buyers don't spend time on LinkedIn. This list covers both kinds. There are ten tools, and each one has the price the vendor shows on its own page, checked on 17 and 18 October 2026.

If the idea is new to you, social selling means using social channels to find, qualify and engage buyers through useful interaction.

At a busy market, a craftsperson chooses among different fishing nets hanging from a stall, each cast toward a different stream where fish gather.

How we ordered this list

The list opens with tools built on LinkedIn, followed by employee advocacy tools, signal tools that cover several platforms, and monitors that read public posts on X and Reddit. HearBuyers sits in that last group and is labelled as ours. Some tools send messages for you, while others help you reply inside a conversation. Each entry says which kind it is.

Bar chart of monthly prices: Awario $29, Syften $29.95, SnitchFeed $47, Buska $49, Dripify $59, Sprout Social $79, LinkedIn Sales Navigator $119.99, Octolens $159.

It suits sellers whose buyers are active on LinkedIn.

It draws on LinkedIn profiles, accounts and activity. The feature that sets it apart is the alert when a saved lead changes jobs or posts.

As of 18 October 2026, Core starts at US$119.99 a month ($1,079.88 a year), Advanced at US$159.99 a month ($1,799.88 a year), and Advanced Plus is priced by demo. Eligible members can start a free trial, which asks for payment details.

2. Dripify

Dripify automates LinkedIn outreach. It has multi-step LinkedIn and email sequences, an email finder, enrichment, an email verifier, analytics, an inbox and team management. Pro includes unlimited drip campaigns, LinkedIn protection features and a HubSpot integration. Advanced adds A/B testing and lead tagging.

It suits teams that want repeatable LinkedIn outreach. Automated outreach and conversation-led selling are different practices, so decide which one you want before you pick it.

Sources: LinkedIn.

Standout: LinkedIn and email in one sequence, with 100 email finder credits a month on paid plans.

Price (checked 17 October 2026): Pro is $59 a user a month billed annually ($79 monthly) and Advanced is $79 annually ($99 monthly). Enterprise is custom. The 7-day free trial needs no card.

3. Sprout social

Sprout Social is a social media management suite with publishing, an inbox and reporting. Employee Advocacy is a paid add-on for Standard and up, built to get staff sharing company content. The Advanced plan adds AI reply assist and sentiment to the inbox.

It suits companies that want social selling to start with employees sharing and replying under their own names, with a central social team behind them.

It pulls from the social profiles you connect, plus keyword and location monitoring on Standard and up.

The distinctive part is Employee Advocacy, sold as an add-on to a full social management suite.

Price (checked 17 October 2026): per seat per month, billed annually, Essentials is $79, Standard $199, Professional $299 and Advanced $399. Enterprise pricing is on request. Listening is a paid add-on to Standard and up. There's a 30-day free trial.

4. Common Room

Common Room calls itself buyer intelligence that turns intent into pipeline. It merges CRM, product, marketing and engagement signals (social and community engagement included), then adds AI scoring, buying committee mapping and job change tracking. Alerts go to Slack and email.

It suits companies that already have product usage or community activity and can afford it. The Essential plan starts at $2,500 a month, billed annually.

It pulls from your CRM, product, marketing and community signals, plus Bombora topics, job changes and social and community engagement.

What sets it apart is person-level signals from community and social engagement, shown next to your CRM data.

Pricing, as checked on 17 October 2026: Essential is $2,500 a month billed annually, with 5 seats and up to 100,000 contacts. Advanced and Enterprise are custom-priced and require a demo.

5. Octolens

Octolens watches a wide range of platforms for mentions of your brand, your competitors and your keywords. It tags each mention (buy intent is one tag) and sends it to Slack or email. Reps can work the buy-intent feed to find people who are discussing a problem or comparing tools.

It suits teams that want to cover many public platforms at once. Its pages say nothing about drafting replies, so it appears not to.

On Pro it covers Reddit, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky, Hacker News, GitHub, DEV and Stack Overflow. Scale adds podcasts, newsletters, news, the web and reviews.

What sets it apart is the buy-intent tag and the prebuilt feed built around it.

Prices were checked on 17 October 2026. Pro costs $199 a month billed monthly, or $159 a month billed yearly, for 15,000 mentions and 10 keywords. Scale costs $599 a month, or $499 a month billed yearly, for 50,000 mentions and 40 keywords. Enterprise is custom. The 7-day trial doesn't ask for a card.

6. Buska

Buska searches a long list of platforms for people asking for what you sell, scores each post hot or warm, and drafts a reply you can edit. Leads move through stages on a dashboard, and a daily digest arrives at 4 pm. On the Scale plan, an AI SDR agent sends outreach after you approve it.

It suits founders without a sales team who want a short list of conversations each day.

Sources: 16+ on Starter and up to 33+ on Scale, including X, Reddit, YouTube, Hacker News, Bluesky, LinkedIn and Indie Hackers.

What stands out is the reply drafts and the kanban pipeline, both available from the Growth plan up.

Price (checked 17 October 2026): Starter is $49 a month (5 signals), Growth is $99 a month (15 signals, reply studio) and Scale is $249 a month (30 signals, AI SDR agent). Paying annually saves about two months. The 7-day free trial needs no card.

7. SnitchFeed

With SnitchFeed you describe your ideal customer in plain language, and it finds conversations on LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Bluesky and Hacker News. AI scores each one for relevance, intent and sentiment. Noise controls filter out job posts and promotions, and matches go to Slack, Discord, email or a webhook for CRM routing.

It suits teams that want social conversations scored and pushed into their CRM.

It covers LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Bluesky and Hacker News, and lists more sources as coming.

What stands out is the webhook for CRM routing and the historical data you get when you sign up.

Pricing, checked 17 October 2026: Starter is $47 a month (7,000 credits, 10 tracked terms), Pro is $95 a month (21,000 credits, 30 terms) and Scale is $399 a month. The 7-day free trial includes 1,000 free credits and needs no card.

8. Syften

Syften monitors communities and the web, including Reddit, and sells X as an add-on. You write filters as search queries and can add AI accept rules on top. Its buying-intent page talks about finding recommendation requests, people looking for alternatives to a competitor, and complaints.

It suits individual sellers who want to find those conversations cheaply. It doesn't draft replies.

Sources: the public web, Reddit, X, Indie Hackers, Hacker News, GitHub, Product Hunt, Stack Exchange sites, forums, newsletters, YouTube, podcasts, Bluesky and Mastodon.

What stands out is filters with AI accept rules, starting at $29.95 a month.

Price (checked 17 October 2026): Entry is $29.95 a month (3 community filters), Standard is $49.95 (20 filters, Slack, AI filtering) and PRO is $119.95 (100 filters, webhooks). X monitoring costs an extra $40 a month and YouTube an extra $20. PRO has a 14-day trial with no card.

9. Awario

Awario lists "find sales opportunities on social networks" as a use case, alongside brand monitoring and market research. You track topics across X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, blogs and forums and filter them with Boolean search.

It suits small teams that want one monitor for both brand and sales. It doesn't list a buying-intent score.

It covers X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, Vimeo, blogs, forums, news and the wider web. What stands out is topics with unlimited keywords for a modest price.

As of 17 October 2026, Starter costs $49 a month ($29 a month billed annually; 3 topics, 30,000 new mentions a month), Pro $149 ($89 annually; 15 topics), and Enterprise $399 ($249 annually; 100 topics). The free trial needs no card.

10. HearBuyers (ours)

HearBuyers is ours, built for social selling on X and Reddit. It finds public posts where people ask for what you sell, scores each one from 0 to 100 for buying intent, and drafts a public reply (on X, a DM draft too). A person edits, approves and posts it. Nothing goes out on its own.

It suits sellers who would rather join conversations than run sequences. It doesn't cover professional networks, and it doesn't do automated outreach.

Sources: X posts and replies, Reddit posts and comments in the subreddits you pick, and Reddit search. Hacker News is next.

Standout: Slack alerts, a daily digest, and a team inbox with stages from new to won.

Price: free for 14 days with no card, then from $19 a month.

How to choose

  1. Go where your buyers talk. If that's LinkedIn, start there. If they ask for recommendations on X and Reddit, get a monitor for those.
  2. Choose conversation over automation. Replying to a question helps the person who asked it, while automated sequences teach people to ignore you.
  3. Check what you're paying for. Some tools find, some write and some send, so know which job you're buying.
  4. Keep a person on every message, which protects your reputation and your accounts.
  5. Measure conversations. Count the replies that turned into calls, not the messages sent.
  6. Watch for changes. Trigify, a social signals tool, announced on 23 September 2026 that it is winding down, with access ending on 22 October 2026. Pick vendors that let you export.

A note on reddit's data access

Reddit is changing how it handles public data access between 31 October 2026 and March 2027, so tools that read Reddit from outside may cover less in that window. Later for Reddit announced on 3 October 2026 that its posting stops on 1 January 2027. Ask each vendor what it will still be able to read on Reddit once the change is done.
