What a good reply looks like here
A good reply answers the question, draws on practical experience and helps the poster weigh their options. Don't pitch services or products.
Sample reply: If you're hiring a temporary retail media search director, start by defining which retail ad platforms they will own, how large and complex the accounts are, whether the role covers strategy or execution, and how many client relationships they will oversee. Ask candidates for examples of campaigns they led, how they handle reporting, and times they coordinated with multiple stakeholders. Being clear up front about contract length and decision-making authority makes the search easier.

When to skip r/PPC
This community is usually not worth the time if you want to promote a product, gather feedback on a marketing tool, validate a software idea, sell courses, or generate demand for a general B2B software offering. The rules and the moderators come down hard on self-promotion.
