What a good reply looks like here
Good replies are practical and specific, and they come from real experience. Speak to the buyer's evaluation criteria, the tradeoffs, what implementation involves and what you learned. Mention your own product only when it's directly relevant, and disclose your interest and full pricing when you do.
Sample reply: If you're moving legacy quote templates to the newer revenue-management templates, I'd start by mapping the differences between them and working out which elements convert automatically and which need manual review. Ask vendors how they handle custom fields, template logic, testing workflows and rollback, and how they validate the output after migration. A small pilot on a representative set of templates before a broader rollout can help too. When comparing tools, look at how much manual cleanup each one leaves you with after migration and what support you get during implementation.

When to skip r/salesforce
This community isn't a good fit for general B2C products, unrelated software vendors or anyone relying on cold outbound self-promotion. If you can't offer useful Salesforce-specific expertise or meet the disclosure rules for product mentions, your time is probably better spent elsewhere.
