Brand24 vs Mention: published prices against a demo-led plan

Brand24 publishes its plans and prices, starting at $249 a month. Mention's pricing page shows one "Company" plan with no price and a "Get a demo" button. If you want to know what you'll pay before you talk to anyone, Brand24 tells you and Mention doesn't. Both do social listening and media monitoring. According to Mention's home page, Agorapulse acquired it, and it now sits under that company.

Where Brand24 is stronger
- You can price it. There are four self-serve plans, billed monthly or annually.
- Plan ladder. You can start at 3 keywords and 2K mentions and move up from there, rather than buying a full Company plan.
- AI modules. Higher plans list AI Insights and AI Topics, and Enterprise adds an AI Visibility module.
- Self-serve trial. The pricing page offers a 14-day trial.
Where Mention is stronger
- Review coverage. It names 75+ review sites, including Google, Trustpilot, Amazon and Glassdoor.
- History. It says it keeps up to two years of data, which helps with trend work.
- Hands-on service. The Company plan comes with a dedicated account manager, custom onboarding and priority support.
- Share of voice and competitor benchmarking are part of the plan.
- Zapier. Slack and Zapier are listed as integrations.

Pick Brand24 if you want to start small, see the cost up front and run the tool yourself. Pick Mention if you'd rather have a managed, demo-led setup with review-site coverage and an account manager, and you don't mind asking for a quote. Publishing and responding are being phased out of Mention, so if its direction matters to you, ask about it on the demo call.

Where HearBuyers fits
Both are brand listening tools. HearBuyers is narrower. It reads X and Reddit for people asking for what you sell, scores each post from 0 to 100 and drafts a reply that a person approves. If you're after leads rather than coverage, that's the one job it does.
