Apollo.io alternatives: other databases, enrichment, and buyers who ask

facts about Apollo.io checked on 1 November 2026 from its own pages

The best Apollo.io alternative depends on what you're replacing. Apollo bundles a contact database, outreach, enrichment and visitor identification, so most alternatives replace one piece of it. ZoomInfo, Lusha and Hunter cover contact data. Clay covers enrichment from many providers. RB2B and Warmly cover website visitors. Instantly covers sending. If you want buyers who are already asking for something like your product, HearBuyers finds them in public posts on Reddit and X. It's ours, so it gets its own section below.

Where HearBuyers fits, and where it doesn't

HearBuyers doesn't replace Apollo's database or sequences. You won't get emails or phone numbers unless a public email appears in a post. You get a short list of people who said in public that they need what you sell. You paste your company website, and HearBuyers infers your product summary, buyer roles, the problems buyers describe, search phrases, competitors and subreddits. You fix anything it got wrong, and it reads public posts starting with the last seven days.

Each post gets a score from 0 to 100, the sentence that shows the need and a one-line reason. Matches at or above your threshold (70 by default) get a drafted public reply, plus a DM draft on X. A person edits, approves, copies and posts it. Alerts go to Slack, a daily email digest and a team inbox. It's free for 14 days with no card, then from $19 a month.

Teams often run both: a database for planned outbound, and public posts for the people who raised their hand this week. See outbound lead generation and buying signals examples.

The honest case for staying

If you use Apollo every day for list building, sequences and dialing, one tool with one bill is hard to beat on price at small team sizes, and the free plan covers light use. Replace only the part that's failing.

How to choose

  1. List which Apollo features you used last month.
  2. Pick one alternative per feature you want to replace, and price only those.
  3. Test on the same segment for two weeks and compare replies, not contacts found.
  4. Check prices on each vendor's page on the day you buy.
